Initial Ideas

For my initial ideas I took onboard the initial thoughts I had from the song after listening to it numerous times, a majority of my ideas are based on theme of stereotypical art school imagery but also I took inspiration from the lyrics that suggests rules and hierarchy, the use of grids and lines link with the art school theme but also relate to rules I think. Other initial ideas play with the lyric 'wear any clothes along as they're bright' I decided to represent individuals with bright colours in some of my designs, another lyric that heavily influenced my designs was 'say what you want' which I think also links with the idea of rules but this time indicates more freedom.
