OUGD603 - Collaborative blog - Evaluation

To conclude on the collaborative blog brief, it has enabled myself and Luke to push our collaborative practice further. Before we began the brief we had the core idea but no focus or identity, so completing this brief has given us both more direction for the future. We now can push so-so further, whether that be an exhibition which is in the works or miscellaneous items which represent so-so. When thinking back to the processes we undertook as a collaborative team, I believe we worked sufficiently together and managed to combine ideas. So in terms of the collaboration side of this brief, it went rather smoothly with no hiccups. However, what I’d say didn’t go to plan during this brief was timeplanning as we realised this was more of an going brief. In terms of the set goals we aimed to achieve such as naming and identity, we hit the timeplans but it was developing so-so in different forms such as considering exhibitions that took us over the original deadline. Other than this minor issue, I am pleased with this brief as it laid the foundations for something bigger we believe.
