Initial ideas

For the first stage of the guidebook I created the building illustrations in Illustrator, I decided to not to sketch the buildings first as I find this process time consuming and pointless for basic line drawings in Illustrator, instead I just based the illustrations of images of the club.

The process of creating the buildings in Illustrator was simple, using 4 line weights to create character and a style that I think remains consistent throughout the club series. I wanted to use typography to highlight the clubs names but keep the illustrations black and white to have a architectural blueprint style.
